Whilst the majority of our work and clients are based in our hometown of London, we relish the challenges of working abroad and love to travel for new ideas and inspiration. Our can-do approach and adaptability has led to invitations to design events internationally in order to bring our unique vision and respected service to a new audience.
We conceive, consult and construct all aspects of the event, working with locally sourced teams to maximise your budget and achieve the best possible service.
BAFTA Brits to Watch – Los Angeles
This was a prestigious event for BAFTA, bringing together Hollywood A-Listers and industry professionals to showcase emerging British actors and craft talent to the US, as well as to introduce TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Hollywood. AD Events were selected to bring some British originality to the proceedings and to shake up Hollywood in the process! Working with a local team on the ground in LA as well as our office in London, we researched venues, caterers and event suppliers to not only meet the high standards required of a Royal reception, but to push the boundaries of event design in LA. The design focus was English heritage with a modern “Anglo mania” twist. Therefore to give the event our particular brand of Brit cool we chose a venue in controversial downtown LA and transported the guests back to Blighty with the scent of English garden roses and dressed the space with customised Union Jack lampshades and British Bulldog bar decorations, whilst waiting staff in bespoke dresses, tailored waistcoats and bowler hats added an aura of English eccentricity.
MIPCOM – Cannes
MIPCOM is the year’s most anticipated global market for entertainment content across all platforms. AD have designed and produced the opening party for Disney for the last 3 years.
